FIRST DAY OF SUMMER CARD CAMP!

...AND I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO LEAVE MY HOUSE!  It's not too late for you to join in on the fun and new ideas/techniques HERE.

Today's challenge was to use this color combo, one which I never would have tried otherwise.  First, I used a die on a piece of white cardstock, mounted it on a piece of the aqua cs and then re-attached the die cut a little off set up and to the right.  Then I clear embossed some leaf sprigs on the front of a white card and sponged over it with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  After adding the blossoms to the overlay piece, I mounted it on the card front with dimensionals.

I really like how this turned out and can't wait to see what the design team comes up with for tomorrow!

This is gorgeous! What a great way to use the color swatch. Very elegant.

Note to self: I gotta do more die cutting, because the examples everyone's making for class are beautiful!

I love the way you've cut with the die then placed it back over the out cut! Great technique and a beautiful card!

This is quite beautiful! Love how you popped up the diecut so you could just see a peek of color underneath.
