WINDOW GREETING

Yet another opportunity to use up some scraps!

After die cutting the circle off the edge of a panel of shiny gold dsp, I mounted it on the cardfront with Tombow glue.  Normally, I would have used dimensionals, but this paper was a bit too thin.  Then I stamped the greeting (W plus 9) in the opening

For embellishment, I die cut three leaves and punched out 2 glittery flowers, arranging them as shown.  For a final touch, I added the dark green embroidery floss on the left.

I could probably make hundreds more cards  without buying any more dsp or embellishments, but...  well, you know how that goes!

JUST US GIRLS #395

Since I have no weddings or anniversaries on the calendar (except ours--our 50th) I made this card an all purpose one instead.

With an all-white card, texture is a necessary element.  I also added some shine with the greeting done in silver embossing.

BIRTHDAY BLOOM

Since I had the gold foil dsp out already, I made this quick card.

Sometimes I use my dies so much, I forget that I also have handy punches.  Since I have all three sizes of flowers, I used them to make this coordinated blossom, held together by a gold brad in the center.  After adding the gold and melon twines, I mounted the dsp panel to a scalloped panel and foam taped it to a colored cs base.  The greeting was stamped in green Versafine ink and attached just above the twines.

Quick and easy!

DORIS DOES PINK??

Well, Watermelon Wonder isn't quite so pink...

Dawn McVey posted her Christmas Thank Yous, and I just loved them--so, of course, I CASEd her design.  To make it a little simpler, I die cut the top panel and attached it with dimensionals. after stamping the leaves and flowers.

The purple blooms were done with one of my tiny peg stamps which I inked up once for each bloom and repeated the stamping to make them look like lilacs.

For the greeting, I chose a less bold font to coordinate with the airy-ness of the flowers.

THREE OF A KIND--Christmas

I've been on a roll getting more Christmas cards done.  These three were done with the SU! set, "Wonder of Christmas."  All three were silver embossed and colored with markers.

The top left card has a typing paper folded insert with the angel on the top (like a card within a card.)  The inside reads "The Lord is come."  The silver cording is held in place by a notch at the top and bottom of the card front.

The upper right card is a flip card with an additional verse on the inside.

The bottom card has an added scallop on the bottom of the white panel made with a die from W Plus 9.

My total of Christmas cards done is now up to 67--YAY!

BOTANICAL BIRTHDAY

Once again, the Botanical Builder dies come in handy for a summery birthday card.  The frame is from W Plus 9 which I used on a piece from the English Garden dsp pack. 

The greeting and scalloped punch are from SU!.

It seems the Botanical set has endless uses...
