The image on this card has some subtle coloring with a marker:
light green in the grass, pale grayish blue on the bird,
and a touch of tan on the beak. The torn paper
gives it some texture and the simple twine embellishment
keeps it from looking feminine.
Masculine cards are always a challenge for me.

It looks like there might be some embossing on the torn white panel too. A wonderful masculine card! I don't mind making masculine cards. I love the set you used for doing them.
He's so regal - I love him with the torn edge - a perfect masculine look.
