In order to brighten up the front of this card, I added some gold twine on the left and a strip of green and gold dsp on the inside right. I trimmed 1/2" off the right side of the front and cut the dsp to 3/4" so that it would show in the space created. You can't see it here, but the card base has some sparkle to it also.

This is GORGEOUS! I love the little strip of paper peeking out from the side, but that big pine spray really takes center stage! Thanks for sharing this with the Paper Player challenge this week!
This is lovely, Doris! I love the pines and touch of gold! A clever idea to add the DSP to the side for added impact!
I love this. I spend a lot of time in our Colorado mountains so pines are a favorite of mine and I can say the pops of gold on your card are a perfect touch. Pines either "glow" with the sunshine coming through or they sparkle with snow! So a hint of sparkle is just perfect!
This is beautiful! I love that gold twine, too. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players!
The addition of the gold twine and the DSP on opposite sides of each other really helps to make your beautiful pines pop. Gorgeous card. So glad you shared it with us at the Paper Players this week
