BLOG CANDY for Valentine's Day! (Scroll down for later posts!)

This post is a little overdue, thanks to the distractions of snow and more snow and even more snow!

It's time to look over the past year's cards (2010)that are posted here and choose your favorite. In appreciation for your time and effort, I'm offering some embellishments and a stamp set. The winner will be chosen on Valentine's Day night and announced at the top of this post. Just leave a comment from which I can choose the winner!

In response, I'm going to go back over all the comments you left last year and pick my favorite of those. I will post it with the blog candy winner. Thanks to all of you who have left encouraging words throughout the year! Being a stamper (and especially a blogger) is also being part of a caring community. We are so blessed!

HAPPY STAMPING IN 2011!

Oh, what fun! I scrolled through all your cards and the one from July 5- Feline Smiles - caught my eye! Unfortunately, my cat does NOT smile...she always looks grumpy. She's 17, so I guess she is allowed to be a little grumpy, but she's really not at all....sweet ole' thing! Enjoyed all your posts, even the ones about decluttering, which succeeded in making me feel very guilty!

Well, I too just looked at all of your cards from 2010. I also liked the Feline Smiles that LeAnne pointed out....but I vote for the snowflake card from Dec 4. I love the simplicity of it....and the amazing dimensions!

I have to say, you have a wide array of styles and designs in your card making repertoire!

I also really enjoyed your "de-cluttering" efforts....especially in your stamping room. I fight my "craft cave" (it's in the basement...and it's huge so I'm grateful for the wonderful space) clutter all of the time. It's hard to keep it neat and tidy when you're "creating"!! :)

Hope all is well with you...we're expecting a huge snow storm Tues and Wed. :(

After looking at all your wonderful cards I love, love, love the butterfly cards, especially the ones with the weaving technique! It's too hard to choose just one, they are all beautiful!

Oh it was so much fun to scroll through your year! I can't pick just one, so mine in chronological order are:

Jan 30
Mar 16
May 27
June 30

Well, I also love all your one-layer wednesday cards!

I sure did enjoy my review of you "year of cards", Doris. However, it wasn't easy to choose just one. I finally decided on May 24. The colors are so gorgeous and the fern fits in so beautifully with the flowers. But March 16th is a close runner up with the elegant wedding card. I love those embossed butterflies. June 16th would have to win an award for the cutest post of the year. Archie is just adorable!
Hugs to you!!!

Doris, Every time I try to scroll through, my computer jams up! Need a new computer I guess! I especially loved all the cards made with the peg stamps. Especially the baskets with leaves amd flowers.

May favorite is May 31, the scrap card. I love the soft colors and the line of flowers blowing in the breeze behind the butterfly.

Well, that was not an easy task. Your cards are all varied and I liked them all but settled on the Vellum Snowflake card. Vellum is always so pretty and something I seldom use-need to branch out.
