EASTER'S ON ITS WAY...
Thanks to Cyndy's technique class yesterday, I was able to make this Easter slider card.
The inside stamp features one of my favorite sayings!

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS DORIS?
Lots going on here!
First, I recently spent a lot of time reading and underlining notes for the upcoming Bible Study I'm leading starting tomorrow. It is on the book of Jonah, and it's been surprisingly deeper than expected. As I plan to share with the group tomorrow, it's more than just a Sunday School tale about a reluctant prophet and a whale. It's amazing how much there is to learn from this little book!
In addition to my studies, I also made a set of thank you cards for someone who just got engaged and would be getting gifts at her engagement party (which was yesterday.) I took photos and will post them tomorrow.
Meanwhile, my good friend Joyce found out she had a hairline fracture of her hip and has had to stay off her feet for the past 3 weeks. I've been helping her with her recuperation, so that has taken up a lot of time. I'll be taking her to her doctor again next week for follow up x-rays and evaluation. Thankfully, she lives just a half mile down the road. Her fracture was caused by osteoporosis (not a fall.) Others have also been helping, and she seems to be improving well. We all hope she'll be pain free and walking faster again soon.
I also had to get a new phone and the learning curve is NOT easy! I really feel my age with these new electronic devices. Nuff said...

PAPER PLAYERS--Monochromatic CAS Cards
The color I chose to use is green, including the butterfly and the green gems at the base of the flowers and the tag. WOS was added to the butterfly wings and the tag, although they look yellowish in the photo due to the lighting.

WINTER BIRDS
Using scraps from my stash, I layered them to give this simple black and white image some color. I also sponged the oval with Broken China Distress Ink.
The sentiment is certainly appropriate for this time of year and is one of my faves!

SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW #2
pad as the last one posted. The flower is another block
colored differently.
Instead of using sequins for embellishments, I chose to
use my butterfly punch and a scrap of marbled dsp. The
antennae are shaped brown wires from an "ancient" set
in my stash.
